Shipping

For purchases under $2,000.00, Modern Living will charge a flat fee of $85.00 for delivery within GTA, for purchases over $2,000.00 the delivery charge will be waived within GTA. For delivery outside GTA, we will quote each delivery separately. Our regular delivery hours are Tuesday 11-6pm and Friday 11-7pm. Rush and after hour deliveries will subject to additional 50% charge.
As a stocking dealer, Modern Living has a warehouse to try to keep all of our products in stock to minimize our customers’ waiting period. All orders will be ready for shipping within 7 business days unless specified. The delivery estimates for items which are temporally out of stock are good faith estimates only, for factors that out of our control may delay the planned schedule. Modern Living will not be liable for any loss, cost or expense related to any of those delays, we cannot issue credit or refund for orders due to delay in shipment.

Warranty

All products are entitled to 6 months warranty against manufacture defects (not including customers inflicted chips, scratches, cracks, tears or broken by way of abuse of merchandise purchased), extended warranty can be purchased at the time of ordering.

Returns

Merchandise purchased from Modern Living may be returned for store credit or exchange only within 14 days of delivery if accompanied by original receipt and in original condition. Delivery and shipping fees and assembling charges will not be credited or refunded. Store credit is valid for one year from the date of issue, therefore, unused credit is forfeited.
Claims received after 14 days of delivery will not and cannot be processed, however if the merchandise breaks from regular use under our 6 months warranty program, we will exchange the damaged item, the customer must provide the proof of purchase in addition to the damaged item in its entirety, we will not accept any partial exchange, all of pieces of the item including the hardware must be returned to Modern Living to proceed the exchange.
If the customer is dissatisfied with the item based on a aesthetic issue, sizing, or inter-party dispute or dissatisfaction, etc, then the item may be returned for a store credit that will be issued at 75% of price value within two weeks of sale only, the customer is responsible for, in full, all the shipping charges associated with this type of returns.
Merchandise purchased that are on a special price offering or final sale are not under the terms of our return policy. There will be no refund, credit, or exchange.

Refunds

Refunds are not issued except in the case of defective merchandise we are unable to replace or undeliverable items due to manufacturing issue.
