- We will ship all merchandise within three business days of purchase unless otherwise specified. Delivery estimates are good faith estimates only. Modern Living will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense related to any delay in shipment or delivery. We cannot ship to post office boxes.
- -Within Ontario and Quebec: $45 flat rate shipping for entire order
-Free Pickup at Warehouse: Our warhouse is located in Woodbridge near Toronto Pearson International Airport. If you select this option we will contact you to arrange a time for you to pick-up.
It normally takes 1 to 3 business days from the date the product leaves our warehouse, unless otherwise specified. We will send you a tracking # of your shipment by email. Orders will be delivered Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm. - Privacy & Security

Returns & Replacements
- Merchandise purchased from modernliving.ca may be returned for refund within 14 days of delivery if accompanied by original receipt. Returns should be properly packed and sent at the customers expense. Actual cost of shipping the item to you will not be refunded. Returns must be pre-authorized by emailing by emailing service@modernliving.ca. Returns received and not pre-authorized will be subject to 20% restocking fee. Special orders, special price offering, lighting and polycarbonate items are not returnable.
Claims for defective or damaged items must be filed within 14 days of delivery. Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery. Claims received after 14 days of delivery will not and cannot be processed.
***Merchandise purchased that are on a special price offering or final sale are not under the terms of our return policy. There will be no refund, credit, or exchange***
All products are entitled to 6 months warranty against manufacture defects (The term "defect" as it is used in this warranty is defined as a flaw or deficiency that may affect the use for which the product is intended). Warranties are based on normal household use from date of purchase. This warranty applies only under standard household conditions for use, and does not cover defects caused as a result of neglect, deliberate damage, abuse, personal alterations, accidents, and direct exposure to sunlight or heat.
Wood: The natural beauty of wood furniture: Wood furniture will have natural variation in grain and color as well as inherent characteristics such as mineral streaks, pitch pockets, striping, and insect markings. These are not considered quality defects. Slight variations in appearance may result from normal expansion and contraction of wood as it responds to climatic changes in the home.
Glass: The inherent beauty of Glass: Minor scratches, small air bubbles, surface waviness, or lightly pitted areas occur naturally during glass manufacturing. These are not considered quality defects.
Fabric: Natural variations occur during fabric manufacturing. The are not considered quality defects.
Leather: The natural beauty of leather: Leather has natural wrinkles, marks and scars. Variations in color and texture are genuine and natural features of leather.- Ordering
- Orders cancelled after 24 hours may be subject to a minimum of 25% or maximum of 50% cancellation and restocking fee in addition to any shipping charges incurred.

13% HST will be charged to all orders. -
